Come to the Historic Village of Metamora on Friday, August 28 and Saturday, August 29 and enjoy a fun filled day. I checked…it’s only 1hr.1min from the heart of Detroit, according to google maps.
There will be plenty of eats and treats throughout the village and then in the evening of both days (weather permitting) there will be a balloon launch that is just too awesome to miss. There are usually 10-12 hot air balloons taking off. You can walk around and chat with the owners and watch as they fire up to blow the balloons up. It is truly an awesome site to watch.
