Film crews are about to storm the Metro Detroit area for a remake of the 1984 movie “Red Dawn.” It’s about a group of teens who become the last line of defense when a foreign military storms into town.
Mount Clemens, Royal Oak and Rochester Hills will serve as the back drop for the parts of the film. Right now, producers are looking for extras.
There was a casting call this Saturday at the Ridgedale Players Community Theater in Troy that ran from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. If you missed the casting call it’s not too late to still be an extra on the set.
If you are interested in being an extra on Red Dawn, e-mail your name, age, a picture or two of yourself, height, weight, basic clothing/shoe sizes and complete contact information to: [email protected] .
