Joyful Weddings and Events is a blog I came across while perusing my favorite blogs. I was visiting The Hostess with the Mostess and she posted something that made me want more, so I clicked on the link and was taken to Joyful Weddings and Events.
I’ll tell you what…I was on Courtney Toney’s blog for at least an hour because I wanted more and more and more! Courtney runs Joyful Weddings and Events, a boutique event planning firm, out of Orange County and San Diego. Darn, wish I had know about her back when we were living in San Diego!
Well, from what I saw, she plans the most amazing weddings! My favorite recent wedding that she did was in La Jolla at the beach. I love how the bride and groom had a tradition where they took house guests down to the ocean, had them pick up a rock and then had them place their rocks in a bowl. Courtney incorporated this tradition using those same rocks to line the ceremony aisle and also placed one on every chair to hold the programs down.
