The German inspired Kris Kringle Market is on its second annual season offering fresh baked goods, sweets, holiday greenery, handcrafted gifts, ornaments and roasted nuts the weekend of Thanksgiving, Nov. 28 and Nov. 29.
The event will begin with an opening ceremony from 6:15- 7 p.m. Friday, with musical entertainment and a tree lighting ceremony, where St. Nick will begin the countdown to the debut of the Dancing Tree of Lights, which has lights covering every inch.
At 1 p.m. on Saturday, the crowd will be entertained with traditional Bavarian folk music, while kids’ activities will include arts and crafts, storytelling and visiting a wooden gingerbread house from noon to 6 p.m.
Last year about 10,000 people attended the event and there are expectations of more this year!
